A few years back I ased a question about a compete reset of a decoder, there was a list of what cv's to reset. I think it was randy? if so maybe they can repost them, it came in handy. Thanks, Jim.

i believe on most decoders it's CV8, but i'm not sure if it's the same value for all decoders.

what decoder do you have?

Like Greg, I'm not sure about all decoders, I use Digitrax, and it's CV8 set to a value of 008. does the factory default reset.

You can go back in time to find the original post you made, by clicking on your name, or avitar, and scroll back through all of your "conversations" until you find the one your looking for.

Jim,

I don't know if this was the list but it's a handy link to bookmark:

Set CV8 to 8 on most decoders, including LokSounds, Tsunamis, Digitraxs, and I think TCS too. I believe some older QSIs have a weird way of doing it. A quick google if want to figure it out should help you. Also the owners manuals usually Confused have that information.

Regards, Isaac

That's a handy link Tom.  It spells it all out, for each manufacturer.

Thanks!
