Yes, their main building was badly breached, and even the secondary building had damage. They had to get all new pick and place machines to build systems and decoders, and they tossed much of their inventory because of potential water damage.

And that they got up and running - given that all the employees also had their own homes damaged, as quickly as they did is just amazing.

Remember, the eyewall of a CAT 4+ hurricane passed within a few miles of their building, so they got hit REALLY hard!

From what I understand, their building was breached and almost everything in it either sustained water damage or was destroyed.

They moved into a secondary, smaller building but had to replace their surface-mount machines (not a small undertaking) and replenish their inventories of parts.

That doesn't take into account the impact to, and rebuilding of, the personal lives of the Digitrax employees.

I bet they did get hit hard!  I just looked them up, and they are on the panhandle, right close to the Gulf, in Panama City.

I don't remember the name of the storm, but we have friends that live kind of between Panama City and Mexico Beach, and they got hit hard.  They also are right by the Gulf.

Maybe you ought to check for messages a little more. Whistling Laugh

I sent my DT400 to Digitrax for an upgrade back in March. I kinda forgot about it. I checked the status today and there was a message from them on my account dated 3/25 stating it will be 2 months or longer to do repairs / upgrades due to the hurricane. They must of got hit hard.

Being old is when you didn't loose it, it's that you just can't remember where you put it.
