When MUing with digitrax is the information regarding the consist stored in the throttle (DT400R) or is it stored in the command station?

Going a bit more in-depth M.U.ing (or consisting as DCC would call it) just means the command station will run certain functions (like speed) M.U.ed locos on the adresses of the loco they are consisted with. This information is store only on the command station, the trottle does not store anything. Now if you pick up the consist it will still be consisted on another throttle until you un consist is. Now if you bring your locos and throttle to another layout, they will not be constisted.
