Tom, a good point. Looks like there is no fast solution. I added some dummys for now and put the SMD LEDs back in the box.

Reinhard,
I tried searching online for a basic Paragon 3 decoder diagram and came up with nothing. I would suggest contacting BLI directly had have them tell you which decoder pads you need to solder to for AUX 1 & 2 (and AUX 3 & 4, if they are 6-function).

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
I got two BLI Paragon 3 UP SW1500 today. I intent to make some cosmetic changes to fit a time period after 2000 and add ditch lights.
I have a key question before I remove anything:
Where does the Paragon 3 decoder installed in the SW1500 have connectors for the ditch light if at all?
It would be great to have photos of Paragon 3 decoders of the same physical shape installed in other locomotives with ditch lights attached.
Programming should be no real problem and thinking about drilling and milling is deferred until I am sure the ditch lights can be connected to the board.
Thanks a lot for help
ps. thanks moving into this forum, my fault
