Thanks for the help Randy.
I am pretty sure like most every other DCC system it does not come with the wires to connect the unit to the track. There are screw terminals on the Pi-Sprog unit to attach the track power wires.

rrinker The Pi Sprog is a complete system, but you need a smartphone running Engine Driver (android) or Withrottle (IOS) to use as a throttle. Or the new ESU throttle, which is basically an Android device with a big knob added. Unless you will run from on-screen throttles in JMRI. --Randy

Yes, I'm aware you can use a cell phone or tablet. The price and convenience of this system is what has attracted me to it. I'll take a look at that ESU throttle too.
So just to be clear, it has leads or I provide leads that hook up from the Pi Sprog directly to the tracks?
Does anyone on here use this system? I read about it in MR (December?) and have done some research. One thing I need to know is if I buy the complete package is that all I need to run my trains. It seems people who purchase this already have a DCC setup. Do I need that first, or just the Sprog Raspberry Pi?
