Hi all and thank you in advance for any and all responses. Does anyone here have experieince with the WS Just Plug Lighting system? I decided to bite the bullet and spend the money to get the ease and reliability that WS promised with their lighting system. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. I have written to them and am awaiting their reply but in the meantime I was wondering if I might get some pointers from this group. I have read all of their instructions, watched all of their videos and even have sent some previous emails clarifying things that were not explicit in their paper work. I am installing an extensive system of building lights and street lights and have a pretty fair knowledge of electricity. I even plotted out all of the connections and amps per light so as not to exceed the limits. I'm using mostly the warm white stickon lights (25 mA) in the buildings with a few orange or yellow stickon's (30 mA). These are then routed to WS Port Sharing devices then to their Light Hubs connected to their Expansion Hubs. I have not exceeded the amp limits on the power supply nor the number of devices plugged into one port. Here's the problem: everything plays nice except when I plug in one of the colored lights. I do that and any of the other lights plugged into that Port Sharing device don't work or are very dimly lit. So I tried just plugging the colored lights into one PS device and that doesn't work. Not sure how to proceed at this point. any suggestions?

Colored light? Same as the Stick-on light but only a different color?

I'm guessing that one light unit is not properly factory wired or the plug hasn't been correctly attached at the wire. Try a 9V. battery and 1K resistor to test that one LED. WS should replace it. For whatever reason it is drawing too much current or the soldering job on the SMD was not properly done.
I've used some of the WS Just Plug lamp posts but I used my own resistors and power source.
Good Luck, Ed
