Santa Fe all the way!On closer inspection of the pictures provided, the output amperage is either blurred or scratched off. This leads me to believe that these are not 3.5 amps, probably a lot less. So far my messages to the sellers have gone unanswered.
Blurry images are a red flag. So are messages not being answered. Beware!
richhotrain Sorry, I didn't realize you could purchase one directly from MRC, THANKS! mbinsewi You could buy the power supply from MRC that belongs with the system. https://www.modelrectifier.com/product-p/0001504.htm Mike. I agree with Mike. Buy the one designed to go with the rest of the system. Remember that old adage, you get what you pay for. Rich

i bought one on ebay a few years ago, don't have the info right now ..
i -think- it was a 4 amp unit, came with adjustable end pieces ....chose the one that fit ..
the MRC link showes the adapter is 13.8 volt at 4 amp, just a fYI
worked well, was around 15 dollars or so ..
I am trying to find a replacement power supply for my MRC Prodigy Advance squared DCC unit. I went to eBay and there are several listed as OEM replacements. On closer inspection of the pictures provided, the output amperage is either blurred or scratched off. This leads me to believe that these are not 3.5 amps, probably a lot less. So far my messages to the sellers have gone unanswered. Does anybody know where I can buy a legitimate 3.5 amp, 15 volt power supply?
