I would like information reguarding the QSI Quantum Engineer.
Which decoder is a compatible substitute for The Titan Winton ET decoder? I am wanting to do a drop in install for the Proto 2000 E8/9 and wire in the Quantum engineer to the PWR transformer and track
The new ESU LokSound 5 DCC series sold in USA/Australia (not the multiprotocol DCC/MM/SX/M4 versions sold in Europe) have a setting to enable QSI Quantum Engineer Support in DC mode, but I haven't yet tried it.

I'm very active on other lists. I'm one of the JMRI DecoderPro development team and do (among other things) the special LokSound code and definitions. I know quite a bit about the ESU decoders and am also a technical expert on NCE DCC systems.
