Digitrax Zephyr Extra Vs Broadway Paragon 2

Guys my Z X will not read cvs.It writes to the Paragon 2 and all operates fine but cannot read.Have two Z X same with other, no problem with other locos.Here is the funny thing ,the old Zephyr 50 will read Paragon 2??. Any thoughts.

 Is the smoke unit turned on or off? WIth the little slide switch, either in the smokebox or under the cab. 

 Can you read other decoders? If nothing reads, you may have a hardware problem. If it's only the Paragon 2 locos, it could be the decoder inrush current.

 Also try a reset, OpSw39. That will erase all settings and reset to factory defaults - including wiping out any consists. But sometimes you need to reboot your computer.
