They are available in Auto Parts stores in the electrical aisle in bags of 5.
.
The price is veru high. I would buy the big bag from Grainger, as stated before, you will probably need them later.

Living the dream.
Somehow I think you will need extra connectors sooner or later. I ordered a bag of 100 3M ones and wound up buying another 50! I still have 10-15 'spares' - I tend to find uses for them, and having to order another 50 with shipping would be too expensive...

Did you try e-bay?
Where can I buy a small quantity (12-22) of these 18-14 AWG suitcase connectors to make a T-tap connection with male quick connects? I found them on the Grainger site - but in quantities of 50 only. All Electronics, Jameco, Miniatronics, Mouser, Micro Mark and Amazon either don't carry them or have them in large quantities (50+) only.

I read about them (page 8) in Larry Puckett's new book, "Wiring Projects for Your Model Railroad" published by Kalmbach.
Thanks!
