You might also look at the OG-AR, also from DCC Specialties. It's kind of a PSX-AR Lite.

Would the OG-AR be suitable for the NCE power cab, which is a low power system?

My HO layout has two separate wye tracks, used mainly for loco turning, and due to the geography, each will need a their own auto reverser. I understand that the Dual Frog Juicer can be used for this application (one for each wye).

A Dual Frog Juicer may be used to control two frogs or as a single auto-reverser.  It can't do two wyes.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.

The PSX-AR will align the rail turnout for you as you approach.  OTOH, in the case of a simple locomotive turning wye, if your goal is to keep cost down, you can use the contacts of the tail track's Tortoise to control the polarity of the tail track.  If you are using one or both of the contacts for something else, add a relay.  If you are using a ground throw, you can connect a microswitch to the throwbar.

I have the right to remain silent.  By posting here I have given up that right and accept that anything I say can and will be used as evidence to critique me.

Both products will achieve the goal of switching the polarity in a reverse section and are easily installed.

The Dual Frog Juicer is "plain jane" compared to the PSX-AR with its multiple options set by the user.

Dual Frog Juicer vs. PSX-AR

I could use some opinions on using the Tam Valley Dual Frog Juicer vs. the DCC Specialties PSX-AR for auto reversing.

My HO layout has two separate wye tracks, used mainly for loco turning, and due to the geography, each will need a their own auto reverser. I understand that the Dual Frog Juicer can be used for this application (one for each wye).

I have one PSX-AR on a large reversing loop, and it works perfectly. On the other hand, I have no experience with the Juicers, but they're half the price. I'm using the NCE Power Cab, but will eventually upgrade to the 5 amp booster.
