A Signal Question
Posted by TrainsRMe1 on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 11:06 AM

Hey Guys n Gals

I have a question, I'm in the process of moving my signals from one location to another, now here's the problem, while I was taking one out, I accidentally pulled my resistors off, and in the process cut one in half ( don't ask) lol, anyway do you know what type of resistor and power rating for a D Type 3 lite, combo house signal from NJ international that I would use??

Thanks Happy Modelrailroading.

Like this one?

Are the lights LEDs or incandescents?

If they're LEDs, you'll pretty much always be safe with a 1K 1/4 watt resistor.

I have some of their crossing gates.  I had a problem with the gates and sent them an e-mail, which they responded to promptly.  Give that a try, or just pick up some resistors if you can find a Radio $hack.

It takes an iron man to play with a toy iron horse.

Thank You, Mister Beasley,

I wish Radio shack still had a store open somewhere,
