I hate to admit this but I have a lot expeirnce with the infamous 308. It means one of two things 1 - dirty track track or wheels or 2.-not enough voltage for the JMRI interface such as PR3.

Thanks Moe,
I replaced the power supply with a 18vdc from Radio Shack,
It's working fine now...
Fortunately not the case,
Locomotive working fine...
In the one instance I got a 308 message it turned out the decoder (qsi) was fried. I hope that's not the case in your situation .
Hello all,
I'm trying to program the TCS WOW 121 with Decoder Pro.
I keep getting error message 308 , locomotive not responding?
Seems like some CV'S are being programmed, and others not?
Am I missing something?
