It's a WOW, not Loksound. TCS does an automatic tune without activating the feature like ESU.

its most likely an issue with Back EMF (BEMF). I have for the most part turned it off on the few TCS decoders I have. I speed curve all my locomotives to a common speed curve to the BEMF doesn't seem to play well with that in my experience. Others may have different opinions on it.
there is a section in the manual about calibrating the BEMF. you may want to look at that as it may be part of the issue.

I have installed the above decoder in an Athearn Gp 38. all works well, but for when I slow the diesel down. the loco has a jerking action at every speed step decreased. I have reset the decoder over and over again. I increased the momentum to a value of 100 , and still the same action. I have never before had this situation with any of my other wow sound decoders. What am I not getting here?Any thoughts as to how I can sort this out?
