I really should watch the videos I'm paying for.  There are a series of videos on MRVP that cover this exact thing.  Never mind.

Is there a hobby-standard way of setting this up so either can be the lead?

Others will know more about the set-up you are attempting. It's easy in NCE, whichever loco number one selects becomes the lead for the consisted locos automatically. But I imagine that's proprietary on top of the standard.

So I have two of the WalthersProto GP30s with Tsunami DCC+Sound I'd like to consist together.  Depending on the direction, either loco should be able to lead, and the function buttons should be for that loco.

I can create one consist just fine, and it works properly.  When I create a reverse consist of the same 2 locomotives in WiThrottle, only one loco moves and the function buttons trigger for the other.  It doesn't make any sense.

Is there a hobby-standard way of setting this up so either can be the lead?
