Are we allowed to know the manufacturer? A picture of the circuit board would be helpful in lieu of that information.
They are going to go to the same place the bulbs are attached but there is a polarity issue with LED's.
The resisitance of the resistor, if you bought leds with resistors on Ebay may be inadequate.

DC or DCC? The PC boards are usually marked. In my DCC ready and DCC on board they were marked.
The decoder instructions show you which decoder wires and use a 1k, 1/4 watt resistor.
Resistors are measure in ohms and watts they ca handle, not volts. I guess you mean 1/8 watts but did not mention resistance.\
This might totally confuse you but it is a primer on LED'S in model trains. Concentrate on LED's.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
I want to replace the bulbs in my ho gauge engines with LED lights. What I am looking for is a wiring diagram that will show where the wires go to the circuit board. I am using 3mm white lights with a 1/8 volt resistor.
