Digitrax controllers

What is the difference between a DT400 and a DT500 controller?

Being old is when you didn't loose it, it's that you just can't remember where you put it.

DT500 supports the extended slots on the DCS240. The latest firmware update to a DT402 also does, but a DT400 does not. DT500 has a power off for the throttle, all the others you need to pull the battery out to power them off. Those are the main differences.

 The DT402 and DT500 support 30 functions, the DT400 is 13.

To explain the differences between the variious Digitrax throttles, I've put together a couple of tables comparing the different Digitrax throttles. The table comparing the DT-series throttles is at http://www.fritzmilhaupt.com/dcc/digitraxadvancedthrottles.html

Hopefully you will find it helpful.
