Hi Folks,
I have been all over the internet and cannot find (or maybe understand) wiring instructions for a Shinohara HOn3 turnout. The turnout frog is insulated from the guard rails but the frog rails are joined. The 2 point rails are connected with metal.
My inclination is to locate the power routing switch wire to the frog rails and insulate the frog rails tips, but I am not sure if that takes care of that pesky piece of metal joining the 2 point rails.

yes
Since these are power routing, the points should provide power to the frog rails. So once you wire up the stock rails (the outside pair), you should be good to go.
Use insulating track joiners on the diverging rails to prevent shorts.
Don H. and South Penn,
thanks for your help. I appreciate it.
Don H & South Penn,
The wiring worked on that Shinohara turnout. Thanks for your help!
