That worked for me but sure was not obvious. Software here has not been as good as it should have been.
The only forum I have ever seen so many issues and I belong to maybe twenty different forums.
Lack of spell check in some forums here is obvious.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
I use a Samsung GS7. The only issue was that 'customer service' thing. I searched on the Google icon and can log in. Some experimenting with the search bar resulted in a search of 'model railroader forums' - I could then log in. Every once in a while Kalmbach resets the web server and I have to log in again(with the userid/**** on the screen!). I just click login and it works.

richg1998I use Safari but don't see what you see. This should not be that difficult.
I agree and I had to play with it some more this morning. At one point I could log into either with no problem, then I rebooted the Iphone 6 and cleared Safari history.
With Safari or Firefox I can log into mrr.trains.com and everything works.
Logging into cs.trains.com sends me to a Kalbach web address and customer service with either browser. I cannot explain why something different happened to you or to me earlier.

This was posted with a iPhone 6S, running Chrome.
No issues with logging in.
I also run the forum on a ipad 2, and my computer, all using Chrome.
When I do use Safari, I have noticed the 404 error when posting, but resetting the browser and logging off/on fixes it, but never had issues logging in with Safari....
Try using a different web browser, as I did in Chrome

- Access cs.trains.com with Safari and log in; When I try to log in, get page not found.
- Press the square with arrow icon on top right of the screen; Never see that.
No problems on my Samsung Galaxy Core Prime Android phone using Google Chrome.

Guy PapillonI can easily access MR Forums with my smartphone (iPhone). This reply was made through it. I used Safari to pin cs.trains.com on the desktop.
I never tried it until this thread. Using Iphone 6 and Safari. Logging into cs.trains.com takes me directly to the customer service page that the OP complained about. I have to log into mrr.trains.com
From there it works, but viewing most forums from a cell phone is unsatisfying. I see a list of recent threads. If I don't touch in exactly the right spot, instead of the thread itself I get the users profile or the main forum General, Layout, Electrical Prototype.
Rici,
I use either my iPone SE or iPad Air to access the forums easily. I prefer the iPad thought.
- Access cs.trains.com with Safari and log in;
- Press the square with arrow icon on top right of the screen;
- Select Home screen.
The MR icon will appear on the Home screen.
It works for me.

I have been trying for some months on a iPhone SE and iPad Air 1. No luck. I click on Log In.
Only site with this issue.
I get Missing Page. 404 Error page not found.
Easy to use both when shopping at Amazon though. Don't need any Aps either.
At home, I use a PC.

I purchased my first smartphone (Samsung Galaxy) 2 weeks ago. I just logged onto the MR forum website using Firefox and have no problems navigating it. That said, it's still more enjoyable via my PC than my smartphone.

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
I've noticed the same thing.
Used to be able to login and use my smart phone to comment. Now when I log in it takes me to customer service. Left them a message that took two weeks to get an answer. They said I need to download an app on the zinio website and create an account so I could read the current magazine. Obviously they didn't read my request. Anybody able to use a smart phone for commenting on the forums and how because I am shut out that way and have to sign on my pc to comment. Thank you.
