Wait, do you have one bulb with the leads connected to F1 and F2? That won't work, lights need to be connected between a function wire and the common - so F1 and the common pad, or F2 and the common pad.

The WOW 101 diesels I have installed were all in older EMDs without lighting effects other than front and rear headlights so I didn't have to get into programming them.
All I can help you with is to send the link to the WOW101 instruction sheet which I presume you have already seen?

Did you check to be sure you have the Gyralite LED in the correct orientation with the blue common on the + leg? Tom is correct that the green and violet wires would be your function output 3 & 4 outputs (minus side) which by default are assigned to F1 and F2 respectively.
Is your SD45 an Athearn Genesis with the 1.5V microbulbs? They have a tendency to vaporize rather quickly. Conversion to LED would be highly advantageous!
If you are still having problems I guess a call to TCS would be in order...

Purple and green are usually extra function wires. Either one of those would be a good choice for your gyro light.

I just installed a WOWkit in my Southern Pacific SDP45 locomotive, and I have not been able to get the over-the-cab gyralight to work. I wired the lights according to the TCS diagram, with what would be the gyra lights attached to the F1 and F2 pads. I have used the Audio Assist feature to program the decoder, and the head and reverse lights work fine, but I haven't been able to figure out the extra lights. The Audio Assist instructions mention wire colors, and I know headlight is white and rear light is yellow, but what color should be assigned to the additional lights? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
