cs48Changing CV29 to a value of 35 did the trick..
Which would be the case with an 8-pin decoder plugged in backwards.
Changing CV29 to a value of 35 did the trick. For a DCC ready engine, this one has been a pain. At least the other 2 I have should be easier.
Thanks to all.
Was this an 8-pin NMRA plug installation? If so, then you likely plugged the decoder in backwards.
Jacktal,
Will give it a try
Thank you
The motor wires were likely correct.Give CV29 a value of 34...it should correct your problem.If not,try 35.
I just installed a TCS decoder in an Athearn Genesis F7. First running, it ran in reverse when the controller showed forward. So I reversed the motor leads on the circuit board. Now it runs forward as indicated. But the problem now is running forward, the rear light is on. Running in reverse, the front headlight is on. What did I do wrong?? I'm using a NCE Pro-Cab system.
