Thanks but I've been in contact with QSI and the Train Service Depot and it seems I might be able to get a replacent board.  If not, I plan to install a Loksound 4.0 since most of my other engines have Loksound decoders and I prefer them.

I have a spare E7 board. See my thread on BLI E7 runs backwards only in 128 speed step mode (problem is software and long address related and only affects 63 of the 10000ish possible long addresses).

Ebay might. I presume you tried contactingBLI and no go. You might ry QSI, in case they just happened to have a sample or something just sitting gathering dust.

It may be easier to find a current production drop-in board that fits and likely no more expensive.

Where could I find a QSI Paragon 2 board to replace the board in my early BLI SW-7?
