PSX-4
Posted by carl425 on Monday, July 25, 2016 9:00 AM

I have a PSX-4 I bought to protect 4 power districts.  Recently I've decided that it makes more sense to mount one of the 4 breakers remotely.  Any reason not to just cut the big board apart and make a PSX-3 and a PSX-1 out of it?  Anybody have any advice on the best way to do it?  I'm thinking Dremel cut-off disk.

A Dremmel tool with a cut off disc is good or an Atlas snap saw can be used too

I did it by hand. There is no reason to keep all four connected together.  I separated mine into 4 units but then mounted them nearly side by side.

Thanks, guys.  That confirms what I was thinking, but a second opinion is always useful before cutting - measure twice, cut once.

I cut mine apart using a table saw.
