I have not found any comprehensive list of decoders by amps. But, I have seen 3 amp and 5 amp decoders in addition to 1, 2, and 4 amp decoders. TCS WOW, for example, is a 5 amp decoder.

If you Google, DCC x amp decoders, sunbstituting a number from 1 to 5 for the x, you will find most of the most common decoders listed.

That is easy to determine. Check the websites for the different manufacturers. They all list the specs.

I know SoundTraxx has one, two and four amp decoders.

If you ever fall over in public, pick yourself up and say “sorry it’s been a while since I inhabited a body.” And just walk away.
