I want to use copper tape instead of wire for lighting circuts in a couple of structures. The reason being I will be able to make the tape blend in and all but disappear on some girders if I can paint it. So after the lights are soldered into place, can I hit it with the airbrush?
Thanks.
Brent

If it's bare copper, it oughta work. Though you should wash/clean it, first. And don't leave any flux behind.
If you have any doubts, I recommend doing a test shot, first. Super easy, and it should be reassuring. If it rally works.

Yep. you can paint it. Will be just like insulation on a wire. I wouldn't use a metallic color, though.
Yes, you can paint the copper.

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
Thanks guys, I didn't think it would be an issue.
