Thanks for the reply! I finally figured it out. The small round male snap terminals on the out side of the case had loose screws so that the electricial contact was intermitten. This drove me mad until I woke up to the fact! Thanks again!
So you have bent the snap terminals and the fix does not last. The question becomes why not?
Are the terminals bending back and loosing contact or is the real problem internal to the switch?
Here is a image of the inside of a switch controller. To gain access, remove the screw inside the male snap terminal.
.
Look for signs of a poor contact such as a dark or blacked spot. A DMM would make short work of this concern.
Also, do not overlook a intermittent power supply or connection point if all of the switches become inoperative at the same time.

I have six of these switch controllers ganed (snapped together) along with three ganged off/on switched. They work intermittenly. It is because of the loose connections between the individual controls. I have slightly bent the female connects in order to make a better electrical connection. This fix only last for a short while and then I start gettin turnouts that don't switch. I am looking for a permanent fix. Any suggestion? Thanks!
