I bought enough KATO HO Unitrack to make a test oval before I had space for a layout.  I have an old Star Tec Hogger DC power pack which has screw power terminals typical of DC power packs.  Here is what I did.  I bought a KATO Unitrack feeder track and cut the wires just behind the modular plastic plugs which KATO uses to plug into their power packs.  Then stripped the wires of about 1/4 inch of insulation and then attached them to my power pack.  MBK has those here:

I am considering purchasing the MRC Tech 6 Soundcontroller. I would like some information on the track connections for this unit, and what might be involved in connecting this unit to HO scale Kato Unitrack. Any assistance is appreciated.
