I have a v4.0 micro decoder and a programmer. I wrote some Thomas sounds to the decoder, (some were newly sampled), and when playing them back some sounded like nasty static. I have not called ESU yet. I thought maybe it might have to do with the sample rate in Audacity?
Any thoughts?
Building the PA Central RR in HO
Page 8 of the Lokprogrammer reference mnual has a table with the sound file format it wants.
15625Hz sample rate, 8 bit, mono.
Lokprogrammer will attempt to convert if the file is in a different format but this is probably what is causing the odd sounds as it is not a full featured auto format converter - set them to teh proper spec in AUdacity before loading them in your sound project.
