Has anyone ever used Trix N scale turnout lanterns? I already have bi-directional LEDs (red/green) installed at my turnouts, but they are a bit bright. I am wondering if these turnout lanterns could be installed over the LEDs help diffuse them and give a more realistic look. The LEDs are 3mm size.
If the brightness is the real problem, try using bigger resistors to dim the LEDs a bit.
