Does anyone know how to program in digitrax super chief to read and control esu switchpilot servo?
The chart on page 18 of the manual lists the addresses. They are always in groups of 4, so as shown in the chart, they can be 1-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13-16, etc. On Page 21 it explains how to program the address using the program button. On your throttle, select Switch and enter the address you want to use (1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, etc). Press and hold the program button on the SwitchPilot as described in the manual, when the LED blinks as it is supposed to, press the C or T ont he throttle and the SwicthPilot will store the address. Starting on page 23, Section 10.6 describes how to use the buttons to set the servo end positions and speed.
It's a fairly standard way of programming accessory decoders - you put the decoder into a 'learning' mode and the next accessory (switch) command issued by the system becomes the device's address.
