Someone in a local model trains store or model railroad club can suggest people willing to help you comprehend and how to use the Digitrax manuals.

If you have not, watch the appropriate videos in the Digitrax Video Depot.

Besides the other suggestions - feel free to ask questions here, as well.

tnlarry,

First, Welcome.

Several of us on this forum (and others) use Digitrax systems and equipment,(myself included), and would be happy to assist with questions and clarification of operation, set up, programming, etc...

Welcome to a great hobby, and a great place to find out further information!

Hi, and welcome to the Forum.

I also use Digitrax, and have done so for a good 5 years.   I am NOT an expert by any means, but can do what needs to be done and have the basics under control.

Here is the thing.... with DCC, one needs to walk before they run.  Take those "baby steps" first, and gradually move on to the more complicated things you need or just want.

Once you can program in loco IDs, you can enjoy your trains while learning to do other procedures.  If you try to do everything at once, you will get discouraged very quickly.

For me, the best sourch of information (after I researched the manuals) was/is the good folks on this forum.

Take your time, and enjoy!   Oh, and document too!

ENJOY  !
