So I got a Broadway Limited GE AC6000 # 7545 UP Loco and it runs great on my temp track until I start my layout. I run it on 003 and it is fine. When I program to be Loco 7454 and then go to that address to control on my Zephyer it gives me a StLo warning to take the loco over and then the speed and control is very erratic. I then go back and program it to either 003 or just a random number and it will work fine. But it does not like the number 7545. Note I only have 5 locos so far and none are using this number. Anyone ever come across this issue?

what mode are you using during programing. some decoders do not program on pg (128) speed steps. try ph or pd modes.
StlLo means Steal - you have that address selected already on anothe rthrottle (maybe one of the jump ports) and operation is erratic because thw two throttles are fighting one another. When you are done running a loco, you should bring the speed to 0, set the brake lever to the middle position, and press Loco and Exit. This is outlined in the manual. If you do that, you won;t see StlLo indications.

Do you have CV29 programmed to accept a loco number above 128? Check your decoder instruction for the appropriate setting. Mine adds the value of 32 to accomplish that.

Texas SpecialI only have one throttle and I do release it when I'm done with the engine parked. It's like the Zephyer does not like that particular loco number.
Actually, if you have a Zephyr, then yoiu have at least three throttles: then main console throttle and the two jump throttles. Make sure you don't have that address assigned to a jump throttle. Even if you don't have anything attached to them and have never intentionally used them, you can get the same issue if you accidentally assigned a loco to one.
That's "STeal LOcomotive" This means another throttle has been assigned that loco on the stack.
You might have fat fingered the jump thorttle button and accidently programmed it in. The message appears on mine occassionally.
