Some elements of your layout are similar to mine.  I have an NCE Power House Pro DCC system, and I use 14 gauge solid copper wire for my bus and 22 gauge stranded wire for the feeders.  I have four reversing sections on my layout.

From what you have described, you are well along in that your feeders are soldered to your rail connections, and you have isolated the reverse loops.

So, at this point, all you really need to do is to set up the command station, connect the bus wires to it, and begin to connect the feeders to the bus wires.

The biggest complexity will be to wire the reversing sections (loops).  What are you using to power each reversing section?  An auto-reverser?  What type?  A DPDT switch?  How many reversing sections?

The key to a properly wired reversing section is to connect the input side of the auto-reverser to the main bus.   Any and all feeders to the reversing section must be wired to the output side of the auto-reverser.  No feeders from the non-reversing sections should come into contact with the auto-reverser.  No feeders from inside the reversing section should be connected to the main bus.

Tell us more about your layout and post a diagram of your track plan so we can give you more specific advice.

It would help us to help you if you could post your track plan. Even a rough sketch that isn't to scale would make it much easier to help.
