You should not need a decoder specifically designed for a coreless motor.  Bemf compensation requires different settings to work well with coreless motors, so if your decoders have bemf you may want to try changing the settings or even just turning bemf compensation off.

Aren't the Faulhaber motors coreless motors?  If so, you're going to need a decoder that is made specifically for that type.  Zimo decoders are where I would turn.

I’m using Faulhaber 2224SR motors in my Rivarossi Cab Forwards.  I added 8 ounces of weight to every locomotive equipped with the Faulhaber motors to increase the drawbar pulling power.  They have super power running on a standard 12 volts DC power pack but far less power when running on a DCC decoder.
 
I have tried several different manufacturers decoders with out any success.  All of my locomotives are wired to conform to the standard NMRA 8 pin connectors and when I plug in the DC jumper plugs they have super power and run great without any sign of overheating.  When I plug in a decoder they are puny runners.  They run very good on level track but I have 3½% grades and running on DCC they barely pull the grade with a dozen cars behind them.  Running on conventional 12 volts DC they will pull every car I own.
 
I have several Athearn blue box PAs & PBs converted to DCC and they work fine.  All my Proto 2000 E series work good on DCC also.  None of my diesel fleet have added weight.  Without adding weight to my Cab Forwards they wouldn’t pull a car full of birds in flight up my grades, they have absolutely no traction without added weight.
 
Do I need to do some special programming to get more power for the locomotives with the Faulhaber motors?
