Blue Line Sound Decoder Problem

 Help

 I lost sound on my RSD 15, nomally not a big problem. I use JMRI and a Digitrax PR3 for reading and writing decoders. My PR3 can and has read and wrote to my RSD 15 many of times in the past. (My GE AC 6000 is another story)

 Anyway, I tried to reset the RSD sound decoder last night with the drive decoder removed and has some problems. First I kept getting error messages, normally I do not. So I open the RSD stored file and sat it for default and wrote all the default files to the sound decoder. Decoder was beeping it's little brain so it was getting the rewrite.

 Then I read the sound decoder, instead of the Default address of 3, it said 4? Tried to set to the address to what I wanted which is 98. Seem to take the address change. Then I read the address and it was 100, not 98?

 I tried 5 times before I said the heck with it. Other detrail was when I changed the address I got the beep meaning it took, then a delay and get a second beep? Guess that is when the address changed.

 I have the basic page open right now. It shows 1 byte address, Active address as 98 (it still has no sound but drive works) Primary address as 98, Extended Address as 642 and what the heck is it? None of my drive files show this?

 I guess I could just cheat, read the sound decoder and set the drive decoder to that address.

 Can I use the PR3 to read and write on the layout using Digitrax SEB?

 Tonight I played with it some more. Sat the main address too 95, then I read the decoder and it was 98, the address I wanted. Installed the drive decoder and gave her a try, no sound.

 Does BLI still have a user site?

 Try programming with your throttle and DB150, just blast in the address you want it to be. Are you resetting them one at a time? If you reset both decoders, the whole thing should run on address 3.
