Sometimes resetting the command station helps clear the issue. For a Zephyr, "closing" OpSw39 will reset.

Gotta be the same cab number on two throttles.

Been there, done that.

Try giving your loco another fictitious long adress...if it runs well, then you'll know this adress (702) is your problem to find.

CSX Robert
I suspect your are using a Digitrax command station and have address 702 selected on another throttle. If you are using a Zephyr, you may have accidentally assigned it to one of the jump ports.

*hits head*Bang Head  My two year old was jamming buttons on the Zypher.  I think one of them was the Jump port button.

Thanks Robert that's probably it!

Tsunami 4 digit address problem

This is the first time this ever happened to me but...

I have a 2-8-0 Bachmann Connie with built in Tsunami sound.  (Factory installed)

Recently it started stopping and starting like the throttle went to 0 all the sudden.  So I reset it (CV8 = 8).

It started working fine again on address 3.

But as soon as a I set the long address to 702 again, and CV29=34, (128 speed step long address) it starts randomly starting and stopping again like someone is twitching the throttle.  Switching back to use the short address (3) fixes the problem.

Has my decoder gone haywire permento?  I guess I would have to send it back to Bachmann as it's a built in decoder.
