I do not recall seeing brake on DC being one of the features supported by the MTH decoders. MTH has their own thing, not compatible with DCC, and have provided SOME compatibility with DCC so people can run them on existing DCC systems, but not all features are supported.

MTH braking on DC?
Posted by Hackcell on Sunday, November 23, 2014 5:03 PM

Hello,

I own a mth 80-2265-5 loco (http://www.mthtrains.com/content/80-2262-5) working on DCC and I'm having issues with it. When I try to make it stop using a brake on DC module, the loco keeps its speed and it does not stop until it reaches the no electricity isolated track.

I can not send any command to the loco while it crosses the stop area which is normal, so I can discard a brake module issue.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance!
