Page 14 of the comprehensive manual has the function remapping table. CV40 defaults to 32, which means F4 controls the pink wire. Change it to 64 and F5 controls the pink wire. Or put in the value for whatever button you want to control the pink wire. If you want it to be on F7, that's CV42=4, CV40=0 (or just leave CV40 alone - the way it's written, a value in CV42 will take precedence over whatever CV40 has in it).

Rule 17 dim function
Posted by jwar41 on Thursday, October 9, 2014 2:36 AM

Using an TCS A6X in an Intermountain F3 and modified the lighting to seperate functions, independent lights are Dimmable headlight, rear light, mars light, truck lights (fibre optics ) , numberboard lights, and classification lights.

My question is, being that rule 17 with TCS uses the function # 4 button to dim lights, it is by default using the PINK wwire sodering point on the decoader, when light are on bright its on, when dim it is off. Being I want my numberboards on the pink, it turns the NB off when on low beam. (pink tab is hot when on hi beam and off on low beam) I tried remapping but still gos to that pink tab.

sorry the pic is a bit grainey

Thanks in advance for your replys....John

My question is, Can that funtion 4 dimmable default be remaped to another button ( say for giggles #7) so that the functon 4 Pink is separate.
