loco runs in reverse
Posted by Trainmedic on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 3:11 PM

I have an Athearn blue box that runs in the wrong direction when put in forward position.

I had it apart when I cleaned the trucks so, what did I do wrong when I put back together?

I have heard that you can reverse the trucks somehow.

Thanks

Yes, you put the front truck in the back and the back truck in the front. Or if you took the motor out, you put the motor in upside down. Is this a newer one with wired conections or the old style witht he logn metal contact bar across the top?

Ok I knew I messed it up!Oops - Sign Just wasn't sure how.

I watched and made sure the motor went in right but didn’t pay attention to the trucks.

Yeah it's an older one.

Thanks for the reply.
