How to wire and attach a #6 Left and Right Crossover into an HO layout

As a new train hobbyist I am having difficulty in following the instructions I received when I purshased by new crossovers to use on my DCC system layout.  I see the two green wires attached to the track, I see a loose black wire and a post where I assume it connects.  I am unclear where the green wires go unless they go to feeder track and unsure where these red wires with blade connectors and a plug on the other end go - I assume to be used with an AC Accessory unit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  If you can please contact me at garyh2104@gmail.com

Thank you - gehdoc97
