Decoder Pro Settings for Walther FM H10-44 with Tsunami Sound
Posted by JPD on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 4:45 PM
I recently purchased the new run of Fairbanks-Morse H10-44 diesel locomotive from Walthers.  It has a Tsunami sound decoder.  However, no specific settings for this decoder are found in Decoder Pro (version 3.8-r26527).  I contacted Soundtraxx and learned that the decoder is a TSU-WW56.

With some digging around I found that this same decoder is used in the Walthers Proto 2000 U28B/U30B.  I found that Decoder Pro does have a definition file for this decoder.  I tried this setup and it appears to work fine with the H10-44 locomotive.

Information about the CV values for this decoder can be found at: http://www.walthers.com/page/walthers_u28b-u30b_cbq-cr-ln.pdf
