Well, I was off by ten days.
For all you MRC users, the latest test release of JMRI (with MRC support) has been announced and is available for download.
With all due respect to MR and these forums, I'd like to suggest that JMRI problems and technical issues be directed to the JMRI Yahoo! group at http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/jmriusers/info The developers who write the code hang out there, so by posting your issues there you can both get definitive answers, and help improve the subsequent versions.
Here's the 3.9.1 test release announcement, with download links:

Test version 3.9.1 of JMRI/DecoderPro is available for download. This is the first, and just the first, of a series of test releases that should result in the next production version around the end of the year. There are some internal changes, so please keep an eye out for anything that's been inadvertently broken. There are also some big improvements, including: *) Support for MRC/GaugeMaster hardware: <http://jmri.org/help/en/html/hardware/mrc/index.shtml> *) TAMS hardware sensors can now be used plus the usual improvements to decoders, operations, signal systems, etc. For more information on the new features and bug fixes in 3.9.1, please see the release note: <http://jmri.org/releasenotes/jmri3.9.1.shtml> This test version should be considered experimental. Please back up your files! Note that JMRI is made available under the GNU General Public License. For more information, please see our copyright and licensing page. <http://jmri.org/Copyright.html> The download links, along with lots of other information which we hope you'll read, can be found on the release note page: <http://jmri.org/releasenotes/jmri3.9.1.shtml>

Preliminary support will be in the 3.9.1 test version, scheduled for release during the week of the NMRA National along with the 3.8 Production version. In-progress release notes for the 3.9.1 release are here.
It's supposed to be formally announced at a NMRA Convention in July -- see J. Bernier's post about using DCC and Cab Control combined.
But it will also depend on the JMRI people being able to develop the required data base for Decoder Pro.
Any word when JMRI & Prodigy Advance ( Not Advance 2 ) will be able to be connected?
