Advance Consisting MRC sound decoders with non-sound decoders
Posted by oarb00 on Monday, June 2, 2014 1:58 PM

Help!! I have a couple of MRC drop-in sound decoders that are supposed to support advance consisting. I can old style consist them with my NCE Powercab but not advanced. I have Digitrax and TCS non-sound decoders in the units I am trying to run them with. Is there a CV that needs to be programed a certain way or something? When I try to advance consist them, usually the sounds will work on the MRC decoder, but not the motor, and the motor will work on the non-sound unit.

Thanx,

Brent M, Oar
