Trains sof LION run without consisting, deconsiting or decomposing. Trains are permanently connected with draw bars and wiring between cars. 48 wheel pickup plus independent lighting circuits. And they all run automatically, making proper stops until they return to the terminal.

LION has fun with his trains. Eight trains on the road, all controlled by LLP.

Hi, thanks for the replies but I fixed the problem. Prior to the loco not moving it had been in a consist. I deleted all the consists but I had to delete the actual loco itself. I dont know why or how but after I deleted the loco and then selected it as the loco I wanted to run, it moved and has been fine since. I use the NCE Power Cab and the loco has the factory installed NCE decoder.

You need to provide a lot more information:

What brand of decoder is in the locomotive --
Which DCC system are you using --
Are you trying to reset the decoder on a programming track or the main line --
Have you tried running the locomotive on address 3, which is what it should be on if the decoder has been reset --

The decoder reset command depends on the brand of decoder you're trying to reset:
Set CV 8 to 8 for Digitrax and ESU
Set CV 8 to 33 for Lenz (and if it's an Atlas decoder, it was made by Lenz)
Set CV 30 to 2 for NCE and TCS.

Check the motor connections to the decoder?

Does it Walk?

Perhaps you have to get out and PUSH it...

 (Shades ofSisyphus)

Or maybe the problem is in the mystery module that is DCC.

LIONS do not do DCC.

Atlas DCC equiped Dash 8-40CW no longer runs

Hi, anyone have any ideas on what to do with a DCC equioed loco that just stopped running. My Atlas Dash 8-40CW ran fine but for some unknown reason it will no longer move. Front head light and ditch lights work but rear light does not. I have tried to reset the decoder several times but I don't think it has worked, it just sits there doing nothing. Thanks
