JMRI comes with Decoder Pro/Panel Pro/Sound Pro. Start any of them and you can access all the functions. Panel Pro is tailored to building things like CTC panels and interfacing to signal circuits. JMRI is a very powerfull set of Java based applications for DCC layouts - And it is Free!

Thanks Jim! I presume that more sophisticated consisting, etc can be accomplished through PanelPro on the PC??
Completely possible...You need to have a wireless router in addition to the above mentioned items. Go to the following JMRI web page for the setup:
http://jmri.sourceforge.net/help/en/package/jmri/jmrit/withrottle/UserInterface.shtml
I have mine setup to auto start when I start Decoder Pro. I am using the 'Engine Driver' app for Android smart phones. You will need the WiThrottle app for iPones. These 'throttles' work nice as long as they have some kind of speed control on the side of the smartphone(usually the volume controls). They may not have all of the consisting controls/functions available on a DT4xx series throttle, but you can access those functions via you computer. I normally 'build' consists with JMRI or using a DT4xx super throttle, then 'steal' the loco/consist with the users smart phone. I find that the smart phone wireless connectivity is better than the normal Digitrax wireless throttles...
Question... I would like to set up a DCS100 and PR3 with a PC running JRMI (and supporting WiThrottle) - without any "traditional" throttles. I presume this is possible. Has anyone done this and are there any gotcha's???
Thanks very much,
