Has anyone fine tuned the driveline for this locomotive? If so, how?

FP45 Pinstripe,

Welcome To The Forums.

We could really use some more info on your part. Is it DC/DCC, does it run now? If so is it noisy and so forth. If it is a Genesis, it should not need any fine tuning, maybe lube, decoder fiddling and so forth. Is this the one you are referring to?

I have six of the units but they have never been out of the box yet.  What is the issue you are having?  I would have expected a Genesis to be fine tuned from the factory.

I don't have any of the F45's, but I do have two of the FP45's.  The only fine-tuning I had to do was to clear out the huge amount of lube in the trucks of one unit.  Other than that, they ran (and continue to run) beautifully.
