Earlier today, I bought a Digitrax DH160L0 decoder and put it inside my P2K GP38-2. When I try to run the locomotive, the lights work, but the engine dosen't move. I took out the number board lights and reset the decoder, but it still dosen't move and now only the rear bulb works. How can a solve this issue and get my train running? It ran just fine in DC.

Does this decoder connect with an eight pin plug? If so, you may have it reversed.
That's the advantage of an inexpensive decoder tester. You can test all of the functions before installing the decoder in the loco. Saves time and frustration.

The version of this loco with the number board lights is not a simple plug-in install, because of the way they hooked up those number board lights. You said you took them out now, but if you tried it witht hem in place, it may be too late.
I don;t waste time on P2K locos, I just take out the factory board and hard wire a decoder, using LEDs to replace the bulbs. No worries about goofy wiring on the factory board that way.
