ESU Decoder for GE locos`
Posted by Acela026 on Sunday, December 29, 2013 12:12 PM

Are there ESU Loksound decoders availible that come preloaded with either GEVO or GE 7FDL16 sound schemes? I'm looking for sound decoders for both an AC4400 and an ES44AC (HO scale). I just can't seem to find any ESU decoders with either of those schemes preloaded.  And no, I do not have access to their 'LokProgrammer' module. Grumpy

Help, please?

When you order a LokSound decoder, you tell the distributor which sound scheme you need and they will usually program it for you.  Ulrich Hobby Shop and Litchfield Station are two such distributors that have LokProgrammers and ask what sound files you need to have loaded as part of the checkout process through a drop-down menu.

And both of them provide the sound files you desire because those files are available from the ESUUSA web site.

have you looked on the ESU web site?  Select sound file #73423 is the Gevo. #73445 is the FDL-16 #73404 is the 7-FDL.

In fact the GE sounds are some of their latest re-recorded and updated files, so not only do they have the ones you want, they are better than ever now.
