CV help with Tsunami, or just reset.
Posted by Gerome on Thursday, November 21, 2013 4:10 PM

Started up my 2-10-2 yesterday after a bit, and found I somehow have the settings so that the sound cuts out when the headlight is turned off.

Yet the setting for mute is still normal F8 and works...but I have no sound unless the headlight is on.

Can't see in the JMRI panels where I have a setting wrong.  The Function controls looked to be checked correctly and normal.  I think they are all on the default settings.

I wonder what I have done.  I suppose I could reset everything.

Is it the steam chufs or a whining sound. If it's a whining sound, that's the dynamo. It only comes on when the lights are turn on.  Joe

Thanks.  it was the total sound.

However, after resetting the mute off and on again and writing the changes a couple of times to the decoder the problem seems solved.  Now works properly.

I guess it was a minor imperfection that righted itself.
