The easiest way is to use the toggle switch and manually turn the sound on when you run the turntable. I have the 130' version and the controls are in a sealed box. I don't know if you can use the wires to the motor to power the sound module or its relay.

John,

You are going to find out that your new turntable, with indexing, will sometimes lose it's,program and you will have to program it again..For some reason they all do that, unless they finally fixed it.. As far as the sound go,,What do you hear on those??Elect motor humming?? Gears meshing??    I'm curious!!

Cheers,

Frank

Walther's Turntable Upgrade Sound Module Incorporation
Posted by seaside on Sunday, June 9, 2013 12:53 PM

I recently purchased the Walther's Built Up HO 90' turntable (933-2849) to replace my old Walther's HO 90' turntable (with motor kit) since I am tired of trying to get the tracks to line up and want the ease of indexed track alignment.

On my old turntable, I have a double-pole-double-throw toggle switch used to move the turntable in either direction and also turn power on/off to an Innovative Train Technology sound module to add turntable sound when the turntable is moving.

How can I do this with the new turntable?

John
